Gluster Storage and Kadalu Storage share the same filesystem backend that is GlusterFS. Which makes it natural to think about migrating a Gluster Volume to Kadalu Volume....
After facing many challenges with Glusterd based Volume management, we experimented to integrate the GlusterFS core filesystem with Kubernetes without using Glusterd. This experiment helped us to understand that some of Gluster's capabilities are limited by the Management layer and not by the filesystem itself....
2021 was a great year for us with a handful of projects related to GlusterFS feature development, training, and other Open-source projects. We are excited about 2022 with many projects in the pipeline....
